This archival short documentary film is about the
local fingerboarding scene in Cebu City, Philippines from
the perspective of two pioneer fingerboarders in Cebu; featured the
unconditional bond of fingerboarders and also revealed the
gradual change of the fingerboarding scene throughout the
years.
The filmmaker approached the subject through an
interactive style of documentary filmmaking with minimal
shoots and with the used of archive footage.
This short documentary argued the mindset that
fingerboard “is just a toy for kids, for entertainment only
and, it will lead you nowhere”. Because of it being a toy,
people limit its value and consider it as just a toy.
