I'm a British-Spanish Writer-Director who likes to make films about all things gay and immigrant with lots of pathos and occasional humour.
Pablo Saura is a London-based Spanish and British writer, director and comedian. After winning the Eurovideo Innovation Award for his experimental film "This Is Britain" he went on to graduate with an MA in Screenwriting from the London Film School (LFS).
His work is very queer, very foreign, but very British and challenges notions of masculinity, sexuality and national identity with a dark sense of humour. These themes are reflected on the Apple Podcasts-charting "Confused Immigrants," a podcast where he queries the meaning of identity, cultural or otherwise.
Love Lost, which premiered this year at the BIFA-qualifying Brighton Rocks International Film Festival to glowing reviews, marks his narrative directorial debut.
