Pablo Monterrubio-Benet is a Mexican-American media artist and filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles and Mexico City. He earned his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016, focusing on filmmaking and interactive media art, and received his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2011. Pablo's work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the New Artist Society Scholarship, Jacques and Natasha Gelman Scholarship, F. Grainger Marburg Scholarship, and the National Arts Recognition Award. His work has been exhibited internationally, with showcases in the United States, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, Germany, and Romania.
