PSYCHOTIC

Jack is a 37-year-old writer and his very, very young and suffocatingly affectionate girlfriend, Lisa 25. Jack and Lisa maintain a peculiar routine in their apartment, he works on his new book and awaits a response from his editor, Lisa assists Jack in your day to day, prepare your coffee, wash your clothes, cook.

But every time Lisa approaches the affectionately smothering Jack he fakes appreciation, when in fact he's almost bursting inside, flashes in his head assaulting Lisa. One of the peculiar routines is that every time Jack leaves the apartment he locks Lisa in a room, like a puppy, strangely this seems to be normal for Lisa, so much so that they kiss goodbye when Jack returns, don't let go of Lisa right away, they seem to like this game! Sometimes she slams the door and asks for food, but after a while Jack ends up letting her go.

Lisa's routine is still taking care of Jack and it remains the same, but every time Lisa gets close, he keeps having flashes of aggression. One night Lisa has a friend visit and they order a pizza Hut, Jack keeps writing on his macbook* at the table and Lisa gets upset and asks him to pay attention to her and her friend while they eat. Jack gives in but inside he's exploding with hate he keeps having flashes.

The routine of locking Lisa continues normally, but the intervals get longer and Lisa knocks harder and harder on the door because she feels hungry, but Jack doesn't allow her to leave. The routines continue, but at one point when Lisa approaches to cuddle, Jack has another flash, this time choking Lisa until she is lifeless and her body is inert on the living room couch.

One day Lisa is locked in her room and Jack is at her desk typing, when she hears knocking on her bedroom door again, Jack pretends not to hear and continues typing, the knocking continues and Lisa screams and begs for food. As the thumping continues loud and uninterrupted Jack can no longer concentrate, Jack swears and gets up quickly, goes to the fridge and grabs a raw steak from the fridge and throws it into the room as if Lisa were an animal. The knocking stops for a few moments.
Jack goes back to sit in front of the computer after a while Lisa's beats and complaints start again stronger and stronger Jack despairs, in a fit of hatred shouts “You motherfucker! You'll never be hungry again in your life!”, he takes a knife from the kitchen and goes to the bedroom, determined to kill Lisa, when he opens the bedroom door, he sees his image reflected with the knife in his hand.

In this plot the three stories intertwine, the story that Jack writes, the story of Jack with Lisa in the apartment and the story of Jack alone in the apartment. In fact Lisa never existed, she is a specter of the writer's imagination, to justify Lisa's existence there is the artifice of the pizza delivery man and the friend's visit to confirm her existence, Jack has always been hallucinated alone in his apartment and having psychotic breaks.
