POPAAT
Synopsis:
"Popaat" is a heartwarming and inspiring film that follows the life of a young boy named Popat, who has Down syndrome, and his remarkable journey within the charming confines of Chapalner Village. With its heartwarming storytelling, genuine performances, and a celebration of life's small joys, "Popaat" is a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit and a reminder that through love and acceptance, everyone can find their place in the world.
A significant aspect of Popat's life is his endearing relationship with his imaginary wife, Kajal. Through animated conversations, Popat paints a vivid world of his dreams, aspirations, and daily musings.
At the heart of Popat's world is his loving family. His parents, siblings, and extended family members provide a supportive environment where he can flourish. The film conveys the message that love knows no bounds and that the strength of family can overcome any obstacle.
"Popaat” delivers a poignant social message by illustrating the power of family unity and the transformative impact of unconditional love. The film encourages viewers to embrace diversity, recognize the beauty in each individual's unique journey, and advocate for a society where individuals like Popat are cherished and provided with the opportunities to shine.

ROLL NO 56 was my first feature film as a Debut write and Director in 2016. It
was a story of an 11-year-old boy, and it addressed a major child issue. The film
was sent for various National and International Film Festivals and was highly
acclaimed and had won several State, National and International Film Festivals.
My second film was PAATRA a Biopic that portrayed a life of an Artist a Painter
Shri K R Yadav, who was an unsold artist and remained true to his art
sacrificing rest of the things. This film too was critically acclaimed and had won
several National and International Film Festivals.
BHARAT MARO DESH is my third film as a writer and director. It is a film that
narrates a real story and struggle of a tribe that is till date struggling to find
their identity as the Citizens of India. It has won the BEST FOREIGN FEATURE
FILM AWARD 2020 at London Independent Film Awards 2020, apart from that
it has also won the BEST INDIAN FEATURE FILM SPECIAL JURY AWARD at the
URUVATI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2021, BEST FEATURE FILM JURY
AWARD at the NOIDA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2021. With this it is also
officially selected at JAIPUR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2021 and BHARAT
INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2021. Recently have done “Popaat” and
“Muktighar” films for festival.
Being highly creative, my urge is to think out of the box. Every film that I make would be different and the subjects would be real that touch the core.
