Cesar Velasco-Gil, a Mexican-American independent filmmaker and documentarist, is currently pursuing film studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. His work predominantly explores themes of immigration, displacement, and family identity across international borders.
There are various perceptions of immigrants and different types of immigration, each bringing its own unique responses and traumas. In this film, I aim to explore one particular perspective: that of an individual choosing to immigrate and the emotions that emerge from their story.
