POI - Imba Bimbangal

The plot follows the story of Ragu (Kaber Vasuki), an insomniac who tries a bio-hack product (the "Dream Starter") that allows the user to fall asleep instantly and experience hyper-vivid dreams. Ragu falls in love with the pill, only to realize that the "Dream Starter" has some side-effects that aren't advertised.
Shot entirely in Canada, the fast-paced narrative music video is a sci-fi piece that feels like a mix between "Black Mirror," masala films, and hip-hop music videos.
Using a mix of lyrical storytelling and visual narrative, "POl - Imba Bimbagal" is a breathless 7-minute ride primarily meant to entertain. But dig below the fast-flowing surface, and the video contains commentary on our dependence and relationship with tech companies in our daily lives. "POl - Imba Bimbagal" draws parallels between toxic relationships and substance addiction while subtly building a commentary on the far-reaching, data-hungry tentacles of tech companies.
