PESSTE
This work is a VJ set I start developed in 2019 with many different presentations and shows at museums, festivals and galleries. Its about power, desire and consumption.
The lenght it can be 3 mins aprox if share monochannel edit version. The live set can be from 40 to 70 mins.
The project has excerpt in the shape of music clip for the artist RAMZi (Montreal, Canadá), after we collaborate in a live show at Mutek Buenos Aires festival. I play the set ive with the argentinian musician Axel Krygier.

Federico Lamas (Buenos Aires, 1979). He is a freelance Visual Artist (designer, filmmaker, illustrator and VJ). His works range from experimental videos, books, zines, VJ sets, posters, animation, album covers, installations, music clips or short films. Image and Sound Designer degree by Buenos Aires University.
His highlight residences are: Hannover (Up and Coming), São Paulo (Videobrasil) , México DF (Pasagüero and Vértigo Galería), Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Kiosko Gallery) and Québec City (La Bande video gallery)
One of his last project was as regié for an experimental opera full of video-installation scenes based on “The Raven” by Poe and composed by Toshio Hosokawa, at Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires.
He has an on going project since 2009 called "Visión Infernal"/"Hellish Vision", where illustration and animations can be reveal hidden secrets with a red viewer (the hellish viewer). With this project you can find books, zines, prints, VJsets, installations and exhibitions distributed all around the world.
During 2019, a new solo show was open at La Bande Video, Quebec City, also he took part for 5th time of the Videobrasil Bienal in Sao Paulo (he won in 2 editions) and also launch an new publication together with a video exhibition in Mexico and São Paulo.
