PERTENCER

For the release of the third clip of his debut EP, Distance (Dec/2020), RAVIH decided to expand the work and transform “Pertencer”, a new work clip, into a bridge for debate on diversity and inclusion in sports, theme of the video and the podcast he debuts simultaneously. The video, filmed at the Marechal Mário Ary Olympic Training and Research Center (COTP), in São Paulo, reflects on advance and retreat using running as an analogy: we try to run forward, but “something” pulls us back. Kim Vasconcellos and Robson Siqueira act opposite RAVIH, representing the LGBTQIA+ and PCD athlete community, and demonstrating the resilience and place that these minority groups occupy.
