Born in Paris in 1986 from a definitely mediterranean family, Bruno Pieretti started very early an eclectic career that brought him to be a teacher in poor suburbs, a peace-keeping soldier in Northern-Africa and a journalist in the middle-east.
After a first critically-acclaimed and multi-awarded short documentary about Syrian refugees, "THE PASSENGERS" is his second incursion in documentary cinema.
