Director Biography - Daniel Goad

Daniel Goad started assisting on film sets in 2012 as a PA, then moved on to doing boom and audio work and culminating into his directorial debut with PARALLELS which started as an idea in 2015.

Director Statement

Parallels is the directorial debut of Daniel Goad who also wrote and edited the project. Parallels started in 2015 and it went into official pre-production in 2019. We had a successful Indiegogo campaign that allowed to raise most of the money we needed. Nothing could stop this project from continuing to push forward; even through losing main cast members and being forced to delay principal photography by a year due to COVID.
This movie is a passion project that took 7 years to create, a cast and crew of 24, filming between two states over a two month period with a total of 8 days for camera, the love and support of our families and friends and a massive amount of support and generosity from the indie film community!
