Director Statement

In my cinematic journey, I delve into the depths of the human condition, attempting to decipher the emotional and psychological complexities that underlie aspects such as anxiety, depression, fear, and, above all, redemption. I draw on elements of the fantasy genre, using them as metaphors to mirror the internal struggles and challenges we all face. My work aims to reflect a Latin American everydayness, capturing its essence and presenting it on the big screen with authenticity. Through the personal perspective I imbue in my narratives, I not only confront obstacles but also invite the audience to do the same. My cinema, soaked in resilience and fundamental values such like determination, seeks to connect on an intimate level with the audience, offering a refuge where entertainment and reflection go hand in hand.
