PADOVA 4TH WALL INDIE FILMMAKER FESTIVAL is a live short-film festival organized by a non-profit filmmaking community (4th Wall) based in Padua, in the North-East of Italy.
The festival will take place during this year with a selection of these category: DRAMA, ROMANCE, HORROR, COMEDY, THRILLER, SCI-FI/FANTASY, anche for 2023 also an award for BEST MUSIC VIDEO and BEST PRODUCTION, and BEST SHORT SCRIPT.
MISSION & GOALS:
- to celebrate the art of filmmaking;
- to connect artists around the world, creating a strong network of filmmakers, talents and opportunities;
- to consolidate the city of Padua as an interesting destination for independent cinema in Veneto;
- to showcase the works of emerging and independent filmmakers, offering visibility and support;
- to support diversity in the world of filmmaking;
- to advance innovative filmmaking in Italy;
You'll have the chance to win one or more of the following awards:
- Best Genre Film - Jury Prize
- Honorable Mention - Audience Prize
The live (or online) event will be a film screening open to all people with free entry.
The jury panel will consist of a selection of local filmmakers and film academics.
AWARDS
We are non-profit community, that means we can’t provide any money prize, so winning provides the following:
- Promotion via social media and official website for the films selected and awarded during the year.
- An official P4WIFF *Category* AWARD LAUREL CERTIFICATE to the awarded shorts during the category live event.
- Every film awarded in each category will be shown at the final event (live or online)
