P45 - A Concrete Paradise

Projet 45 is a DIY skatepark built, financed and maintained by the local skaters of Montreal Quebec. P45 has brought the skate community together towards one goal, to build a skatepark that skaters actually want to skate.

For the last 10 years, locals have been working hard building and improving the park little by little, raising money by selling t-shirts and hosting fundraising events.
P45 is more then just a skatepark, it is the meeting ground for the skate community and for a lot of the locals, it is a second family.

These few clips that barely scratch the surface of the park were taken during Go Skate Day, so there were tunes playing as well as bands rocking out which was fun and all, but that meant editing out all the music to capture only the skate sounds to make this video. I asked a street performer I had met to make a track for the clip.. It definitely would not had turned out as good without him. So thanks again Sam!!

Hope you enjoy!
