Ozurie

Ozurie is a 2D animated short film about Churippu, a young girl who has the weight of the world put upon her. Her mother is sick, and there is no one else in the house to support the family. She has to be the one who is there for her mother, as well take care of the household.
This film is made to explore the dichotomy between a life of painful freedom, or a life of ignorant captivity.

Director Statement

Graduating in 2023, Ozurie is the film made as a final year project that serves a farewell to the college and a beginning of a new journey. This film, like it's character, seeks to accept the end of a chapter, and solemnly move on to the next.
