Outdoor short film screenings ALL YEAR 'ROUND! Get a better chance at seeing your film screened to a general public audience ;-)

Established in 2013 with the support of Sydney City Council and Darlinghurst restaurant Hibiki, the Oxford Square Markets began with just a few eager artists and entrepreneurs mixing it with the public to share their crafty talents, works and home-engineered products.

The markets grew to encompass live music in the daylight and NIGHT-OWL FILM SCREENINGS under the glow of city lights.

The future of the markets is now getting a revamp for 2017 - with more stalls, more entertainment, and lots more fun! We're bringing the crowds, and in the heart of it all could be your film up on the big-screen!

Rules & Terms

1. All films must be short films, less than 45 minutes in length including credits.
1a. Films may be produced and completed in any year.
2. Audio must be English language.
3. All films must be submitted through FilmFreeway.com as a online screener.
4. All films must be able to provide a higher bit-rate Screening Copy in HD (H.264) MP4, AVI or MOV copy of their film if selected to screen.
4a. All screening copies for selected films must be email provided through/via Filemail.com (we do not accept screening copies sent through/via DropBox or other large file transfer online services).
5. Not all submission are guaranteed to screen. This is a selection based film festival.
6. All winning entry cash prizes are paid-out through PayPal. Winners who cannot provide a PayPal account will not be granted their cash prize.
