Coleman Weimer was born in Waterloo, Iowa but raised in Thailand where his parents work in coffee and teaching. He returned to the U.S. to study film in Oregon. Currently, he is earning his MFA at USC School of Cinematic Arts.
There are limits to which people can understand each other and truly share an experience. I wanted to explore how this might be occur between a teacher and student outside of the classroom. The activity of owl watching serves as a vehicle for metaphor.
