Over the rainbow

“G-Voice” is the oldest gay male choir in Korea. They have performed
songs reflecting their life stories. Businessperson and lesbian Kim Gyu-jin
has found the love of her life, and married her. And like all married people
naturally do, she wishes to have her marriage be officially recognized by the
government. LGBTQ people are everywhere, and yet are nowhere.
Their heartfelt stories are now told in full view of everyone.

Cho Hyun-woong,
he is the director at Cultural program production team, KBS
has Joined KBS in 2012 and produced liberal arts and documentaries, namely <Docu Insight>, <Analog Life Handmade>, <Street Dinner>, etc.

Although the interest and importance of human rights for sexual minorities In Korea, are growing day by day, it was rare for the stories of sexual minorities to be conveyed through mainstream media. Most of them were treated seriously in news and current affairs programs, or they were lightly caricatured in entertainment programs. we want to share the life and voice of the sexual minority with you, just as our lives are always between weight and lightness.
