Director Biography - pony marie gayle

Pony Gayle, is the owner of PMG Productions. An independent production company. Current projects: Thriller and feature film in development "The Contest". OUTrageuos, a docu-reality series, that tells real stories of people in the LBGTQ community and their allies. Currently in season 3 on Amazon Prime.

Pony began her career in entertainment at what is now Spectrum. She hosted and produced a local show called "Reality View" featuring new, Los Angeles-based bands. That experience lead her into network program production, first at Moffitt-Lee Productions then at George Schlatter Productions. Next came a career at HBO that spanned nearly 16 years and included Original Programming, Domestic Distribution and New Media. She left HBO to become a partner at November Media, before starting her own production company over 4 years ago. She brings her passion as an independent filmmaker, has written, produced and directed several projects including her award-winning short film, "The Pink Ladies."

Director Statement

There are so many shades to the queer community and I wanted to give as many as possible a voice. My definition of Outrageous is - being out, proud and courageous. The purpose of creating the show was to tell stories that educate, unite and inspire people.
