Out of the Quiet
"A young woman retells her story of death to rebirth in this cinematic depiction of struggles with self-harm, suicide and value."
FILM FACTS:
- This film was made in under 168 hours for a Film Project called "168 Film Project", with the theme of "Rebirth". At the top of our 10 days of allotted pre-production, teams received a random Bible Verse that each team must do their best to create a story that best encapsulates their specific verse; ours was John 3:16-17.
- After 10 days, teams began a period of 7 days (168 hours) for production, post production, and submission. Our team successfully completed "Out of the Quiet" on day 6.

My main passion in life is to be able to shine light on the not-so-easy but extremely important topics that we as a human race are facing. My focus is on shedding light and bringing hope to people who feel alone, left out, or not understood.
The stories I feel drawn to telling are not "easy" or "feel good" tales, they are topics that most people feel uncomfortable or unwilling to talk about. But I believe these are the stories that are most needed to be talked about, in the hopes that people silently struggling with these topics could feel seen, understood, and have inspiration and positivity on a way to come out of these difficult situations.
