Out of the Classroom

The COVID-19 pandemic that started in the beginning of 2020 made the educational system adapt and many students from São Paulo started distance learning through online classes. A year after the implementation of this schooling metot, the expositive and poetic short-documentary film “Out of the Classroom'' searches to portray how the students are dealing with this type of education and how it has been affecting their mental health. Through personal interviews with students, teachers and professionals in the mental health field (psychologists and neuroscientists), the short-film gives the audience an intimate look at each interviewed person and their specific situation.
