Out of Control
Human beings will eventually lose control and perish if
we cannot learn to decentralize and allow the system to evolve on its own.
I try to convey the notion that centralization, autocracy, discipline and punishment cannot cure our society. We are constantly trying to improve it through repairing the system we have built, but the real situation is that we are making our own living environment more and more chaotic and complicated, forcing ourselves into a more cramped state of existence and a more disturbing state of mind. Institutionalization suppresses instability but stifles people’s independence and creativity and makes most of us lose the true value of living. We need to learn from our mother nature of a more decentralized, differentiated, and truly efficient system, such as beehives, ant nests and fish clusters, and even our own nervous system. And allow the system to evolve on its own...
