Outflix Film Festival is an international LGBTQ film festival whose mission is to cinematically showcase and celebrate the rich diversity of artistic, cultural and intellectual achievements present within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community, their friends and allies.

NOTE: All films submitted must be LGBTQ in nature and theme. Films that are not LGBT-related will be disqualified. Universal themes must be approached from an LGBTQ perspective.

NOTE: All submissions must have a complete synopsis and specifications. Incomplete submissions will be disqualified.

Rules & Terms

1. Outflix considers submissions of all genres, any length, about and/or of interest to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. Any film that does not meet this requirement will be disqualified. Universal themes must be approached from an LGBTQ perspective.

2. All submissions must have a complete synopsis and specifications. Any submission without such will be disqualified.

3. Preview and exhibition copies in any language other than English must be subtitled for consideration by Outflix.

4. Final festival programming decisions will be made by July 31, 2019.

5. Programmed works may be excerpted (up to 3 minutes) for promotional purposes on the Outflix website, local venues and festival events if a trailer is not provided.

6. Filmmaker/sender certifies that he or she holds the rights to the film sent for submission to Outflix.
