FUORI (Out)
In December 2018, I fortuitously meet Enzo Prisco, manager of the Johnny & Mary center, in Paliano. I tell him I make movies, that's all I say. Actually, years have gone by since the last experiences I had as an actress and I’m going through an unprecedented artistic and personal impasse. Of course, I don't disclose this. Enzo, on his part, unravels a maze of acronyms and concepts of psychiatry, impenetrable to me. He is full of energy, he convinces himself that I am a filmmaker and just like that, out of the blue, proposes that we work together: why not filming the backstage of a short film that, in a couple of weeks, he will shoot in Catania with the guys from the facility?
I don't own a camera, I don't know how to film, yet I accept.

She began her acting career in 2004, taking part in Carlo Verdone's film "Love is eternal as long as it lasts”. After attending Duse International for 4 years, in 2010 she graduated at DAMS (Drama, Art, Music Studies) of ROMA TRE, focusing on the reality of independent italian cinema in the 70s, the feminist cinema of Annabella Miscuglio and the politics of the filmstudio in Rome. She lived in Paris for 8 years and attends the Actors Factory of Tiffany Stern, practicing simultaneously an intense activity of theater and film writing. At the same time she worked dealing with translations of cinematographic subjects and treatments from French to Italian and vice versa. In 2016 she wrote and directed her first experimental short film, Anonyme, a film against violence against women, shot in 8 languages . In 2020, as assistant director and actor coach, she joined the French director Tommy Weber in his first movie "Come prima". In 2021 her second short-movie, Pipa, is released. Fuori (Out) is actually her first feature film: the filming, which lasted over 4 years, deals with the paichiatric reality of a socio-rehabilitative community in Paliano, near Rome.
