Experiencing Interruptions?

Our little bubbles (An intimate account of our pregnancies)

Aline, a young woman of 30, and her husband David have experienced five miscarriages in three years. A complicated journey of joy and grief that tests both their love and their resilience. However, Aline and David are not willing to give up, and have decided that these five pregnancies will not be the end of their relationship or of their plans to become parents.

For 3 years, Victor, a young filmmaker, accompanied their desire for a child with his camera. A dazzling three-way story. When, against all odds, Aline becomes pregnant, their lives are transformed and brightened by this new hope. But hope doesn't come alone, because with the arrival of this unexpected news comes the resurgence of Aline's deep-rooted fear of losing the pregnancy all over again.
As the months go by, a new horizon takes shape for the couple as the pregnancy comes to term. For Aline and David, this final pregnancy allows them to put into words what they have both been going through over the past four years. It's a vertiginous statement, full of hope, joy and guilt.

Our little bubbles is a sensitive and luminous film, a notebook of friendship and intimacy that bears witness to the often unspoken difficulties young women face today in giving birth. A film without shame or taboo, touched by the grace of a sensitive, creative and talented young director.
