Our Last Resort

OURLASTRESORT is an edgy, character driven dramedy that’s a cross between Dead to Me, Ozark and Good Girls. Conceptually, it has thrills, emotional depth, romance and comedy. It's centered around three highly resourceful women, each from very diverse backgrounds, who have developed a close as family friendship. Together they have built Trinity, a successful and luxurious resort in the central coast of California, catering to the global elite. Their clientele flocks here, lured by the reputedly healing characteristics of Trinity Apex Synergy (TAS), found in the waters of a natural spring on the resort, and which becomes to have a life of its own and to be the fourth lead character in the story.

With the onset of international affaires beyond their control and their rocky personal lives that include a sick mother, ghosting a lover and a broken marriage, the women are forced to rethink their business model. Resorting to increasingly shady tactics to keep their business afloat, they experience windfall profits that they never thought possible, though they come at a precipitous cost they never anticipated. With much at stake personally, all three women seek to control their own destiny, but with the undiscovered mystical properties of TAS at play, they soon find their new path careening out of control.
