Director Statement

As far back as I can remember, I've been infatuated with film. As a child I would re-watch films over and over, thinking about how and why they were made in the way they were.

For my 10th birthday I was given my first video camera and my friends and I started to make experimental and funny videos and shorts. Soon after, I entered a short animation into a local festival and won a mini Oscar.

When I started college, I chose to study film, which gave me the opportunity to fully understand and appreciate each aspect of producing a film.

In 2014 I set up my own film production company, NA Pictures which is based in the wonderful city of York. York has a thriving arts, film and creative scene which I am lucky enough to be able to be part of.

Even though I am only 21, I feel like I'm now capable of making films that I can be proud of, that have merit.
