Oswald Iten on the Nuba Civilization

Oswald Iten is a retired Swiss photojournalist and reporter who has documented political and social situations around the world. Iten shared how he started his journalistic career and came across the village of Fungor, where a Nuba civilization lived in south-eastern Sudan. He lived among them for a year and maintained a good relationship for years until an inter-ethnic escalation occurred in 2011 that brought the village of Fungor to ruin.
