Jennifer Mina was born in Montreal, Quebec and was raised in a small community called Inukjuak, Quebec. She is passionate and curious about her culture and is hoping to share her knowledge using short films. Most of her knowledge about Inuit culture and its’ history is from a program called Nunavik Sivunitsavut that is affiliated with John Abbot that she attended in 2021-2022. In 2023, she recently discovered that filming and editing was one of her favourite hobbies and so she is planning to use those learned skills to tell stories about Inuit history for educational purposes and for her own healing journey.
