Joseph DiBartolo is a filmmaker working in the commercial industry in Southern California. Originally from the northern suburbs of Chicago, work is what brought him out west. Joseph is always creating and pushing each project as far out into the creative ether as he can. Telling stories in his own way is his true passion.
Orange Curtain is a story about dating, drinking culture, and individualism that is told in an unorthodox manner. Our team felt that these subjects are extremely relevant in today's society, yet, they are not talked about enough. This project pulls inspiration from pieces in the Neo-Noir and Horror genres. Orange Curtain aims to give the Horror and Neo-Noir fans a unique viewing experience and form of storytelling that is unconventional in the genre space. Through a sense of nihilism and visual storytelling, this short film is a living mural that speaks differently to each individual.
