Oplan Eskapo
Set in 1996, diligent and obedient nine year old boy Mikmik lives with his stern but loving mother, Aling Vicky who gives him everything he asked except one thing -playing outside the house. One summer afternoon, his friends, Bengbeng, Hany and Potchi are happily playing on the street when they saw Mikmik seated upon his window reading a book. They invinted him to come and join them outside, just this once. Hesistantly, Mikmik asked his mother's permission but failed to hear her approval. With this, his three friends decided to visit him in his home instead to which Aling Vicky gladly welcomes. While Mikmik's friends are overwhelmed with the abundance of his toys, curiosity and longingness to experience fun outside wraps Mikmik. Shortly, his friends took notice and together they created an escape plan. Will they'll be able outsmart Aling Vicky and breakout MikMik or will he be forever trapped in his own home?

Clarice is an aspiring filmmaker. Anna is an aspiring newscaster. They could be different in many ways but they jive at bringing life into colors as they are not just only co-directors, thesis partners but also, they are partners in crime.
This film reflects that Filipino culture could be loving but at the same time toxic in which some parents love their children in their own selfish ways as they oppress the childhood of their sons or daughters.
