Gianna Isabella graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a BFA in New Media. She has directed and produced several short films including Balance, starring Stephen Baldwin & Jason Marsden, Actress Denied starring Gemini Award Winner Michelle Thrush and The Man From The Diner which premiered at the Edmonton International Film Festival and played on SuperChannel across the country. Gianna has been an active member of Women in Film and launched her company, Gate 67 Films in 2017. The company produced a VFX Plates Unit for Disney's A Wrinkle in Time. Its first feature film, The Curse of Audrey Earnshaw was selected for the Fantasia Film Festival and nominated for a Cheval Noir. The film received Telefilm funding and is being distributed by Vortex Media across Canada since October 2020.
