Oops. we forgot your order 2
Four friends with mild dementia run a restaurant. Menu items get mixed up, and chats with customers distract them from work duties. After Season 1 which earned much critical acclaim and viewer attention, Season 2 features timely social commentary regarding dementia patients’ isolation and disconnection issues and Younger-onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

Myeong-suk Kim is a producer and director of KBS, a public media company. She majored in communication science at Ewha Womans University, and has been creating various programs at KBS since 2007 with expertise in factual and documentary genres. She has dealt with social issues such as abused children, elderly people living alone, deaths in loneliness, and social catastrophes and is interested in showing issues closely related to life, such as aging and dementia, to viewers in a friendly and diverse way.
This documentary series (six eps.) dreams of making the many people with dementia around us unveiled so that they are no longer treated like ghosted people. The restaurant called <we forgot your order> is a communication space where people with dementia can mingle with citizens as citizens, not patients, and at the same time, it is also a learning place where strangers with dementia learn the ability to live together. I hope this show will be an opportunity to erase social stigma such as prejudice and hatred for dementia and think about ways to live in harmony in the age of super-aging.
