Only you remain

Here is my first video clip shot outdoors!

For this love song we needed a somewhat romantic setting...
For this sentimental pop rock ballad it was also necessary to have a beautiful autumn day and a solitary singer...

For this title "Only you remain" taken from my album "Audiotonine", I was inspired by the video "Yellow" by Coldplay: it is filmed in 50 frames per second with the soundtrack running at a tempo twice faster than the original song!
In this way we can then obtain a nice slow motion effect by returning to 25 frames per second at normal tempo...
Easy in theory, but I had to sing my text twice as fast, while maintaining a "natural" approach to shoot a long sequence shot that lasts the length of the entire song...

Not to mention the "hazards of live", the rented video equipment that we don't completely control, the unexpected walkers who pass into the camera's field and the very, very tight timing of a late December afternoon for keep good exposure and constant brightness!
In short, it was so hard but we still succeeded in this challenge, with my accomplice Annabelle Poumarat behind the camera and we finally chose take No. 9 (out of 12) to carry out the final project.
