And in 2020, participated the film“PINGWU BIBLE” directed by Oscar Chang,as DIT.
In 2021,as a film producer in the production of “FICKLE FELLING”, a short film directed by Gu Jialei, a young filmmakers in Shanghai, the Film was nominated by the Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival, First-Time Filmmaker Sessions and Kalakari Film Fest.
This film is based on my personal experience as a child.
I was born in a small village in northern Jiangsu province, China, in order to avoid the family planning induced abortion and fines have encountered overnight cross-provincial escape, sleeping pig pen, climbing walls, mud puddles and other incidents.
One afternoon more than 20 years later, as an adult, I happened to have a long chat with the head of the village family planning office and learned more about the poignant stories and human warmth of the people in that era.
Now that the one-child policy has gone from one child to three, times are changing so fast, I want to record something worth remembering.
