Svetlana Bogdanovskaya is a director and visual artist from Vladivostok.
Since June 2021, Svetlana has been the founder of the KinoPrim Cultural Center. This project supports and promotes amateur cinema in the region and beyond. The Center develops and implements educational programs for both general and professional audiences.
In 2020, Svetlana became a co-author of the short film Vending Me (Alexey Martynyuk, Svetlana Bogdanovskaya, 2020). Filming took place in Japan, Korea and China. The film was included in the special competition program of the Short Film Festival in Hamburg. The film was also included in the program of film festivals in the USA, Croatia and Russia.
In 2021, Svetlana released an experimental documentary The Next Stop is KODOKU. The project was implemented in co-production with Japan, Germany, Ireland, the USA and the Philippines. To date, the film has already been presented in the program of several film festivals, including Sweden and the USA. The film was also included in the competitive program of the GZDoc festival.
