Director Statement

Why film? This is all I ultimately wanted in life. Grant it, at first I thought it was Youtubing or Vlogging. But what it was really, is to tell stories. Fictional or real, I want to create and help tell people ideas and visions. Rather it is directing or gaffing. I just love to create stories.
As far as why I chose to make this film? Well, have you ever thought about ending your own life? From 2010-2022, I have thought or attempted to take my own life. Alcohol, running away, avoiding help, hiding my pain with work, hiding my depression behind a tough guy act, and avoiding health treatment that would’ve made it easier as a 23-year-old. This film is a symbolic tell of my life. Not literal.
