One Soldier, One Horse
Humans are natural predators. Horses are natural prey.
Trained to be the ultimate predator, returning veteran, US Army Staff Sergeant James Allen Pennington, has overcome the physical injuries of being hit with an RPG; but the invisible wounds of war still haunt him.
Trained to be the ultimate flight animal, “Red”, an injured race horse, has retired from his racing career and, though physically recovered, struggles to fit into the domestic horse world.
After they have completed their jobs and come home, we expect soldiers and race horses to blend back into society like nothing happened. The fact is, that is easier said than done.
Experience their journey as they meet horseman, Tony Simonetti, an expert in the science of horse behavior as he applies his deep understanding of where horses and humans stand in nature and with each other. Tony works with the ultimate predator and the ultimate prey, teaching each to be less predatory and less preyful.
At the Warrior Ranch, one soldier and one horse will work with each other, build each other up, become partners and come back into society functioning successfully.
A second chance for human and horse.
