Kira Wallace is an 18-year-old writer, producer, and comedian who is quickly making a name for herself in the entertainment industry. In just a few short months, her work has been recognized by several prestigious organizations, including both a first place in the Olde Wolf Writing Contest and an honorable mention in the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition for her piece Interlude. She earned a quarterfinalist nod for her first sitcom pilot Barleigh College in the 2022 Atlanta Screenplay Awards. Wallace is also the youngest writer for the NY Times, Common Sense Media, and Apple Pick for Kids podcast Who Smarted? Most notably, Wallace wrote, produced, and starred in a one-woman autobiographical comedy, Unwrapped. In advance of its world premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Unwrapped—Kira’s debut as a playwright—was honored as a semifinalist in the prestigious Blank Theatre’s Young Playwrights Festival. After an exceptionally positive reception, Unwrapped received an Encore award, and was named an Official Selection for the 2023 Binge Fringe Festival. Wallace is currently hard at work on her second comedy special, set to release in 2024.
