One Last Request

In 1987, Jack Watkins moved to Dallas to pursue a career in the film business. After studying acting for 3 years thru the Kim Dawson Studios he signed with his first talent agent. In the next 10 years he landed role after role in film, television and commercials. Working with numerous Academy Award winning directors such as John Mileus, Ed Zwick and Alan Parker. In 2001 he established Dun-Rite Films with the goal of Producing Indie films. At the same time he also started Roll Videos, a video assist company, spending the next 6 years working behind the camera. After selling that company, he established Role Videos, a private acting studio that provides coaching, tapings and casting. Using over 25 years of experience he has now transitioned into a film director. He has an nature ability to bring out the best performances from his actors. He is a loving father of 3 children and in his spare time likes to redo classic cars and is a avid welder. Jack Watkins is an actor and director, known for The Life of David Gale, Courage Under Fire and Upstream Color.
