The One Eye Film Festival in Dubbo, Australia was originally created as an opportunity for local filmmakers to screen their films.
We have since added categories for other Australian and international filmmakers to share their short films to give local audiences and filmmakers wider exposure to the form.
There are no prizes, there is no theme. We exist to promote filmmaking and film viewing around Dubbo and surrounding areas.
We want to see as wide a range of films as possible.
All genres welcome
Student films
Narrative
Documentary
Music video
Experimental,
Video art
Anything you can think of!
Films do not necessarily need to be family friendly but we will not consider films with overly-graphic sex or violence.
Please note: the longer form category for short films is by invitation only - please get in touch if you would like to be considered .
Submit your film via FilmFreeway online screener.
For all entry requirements and conditions, please view the below Rules and Terms for information including technical specifications sheet.
To optimise the quality of your submitted film, make sure you view it on different devices (e.g., computer monitor, TV, etc) to identify and correct any quality problems with sound or picture. Please contact Dubbo Filmmakers if you'd like some advice. This article has some great tips to help improve quality:
