My name is Nikita Folynskov. I am 21 years old. I started getting into filmmaking in 8th grade, when a friend of mine brought a video camera to school.
At 17, I wrote my first full-length screenplay, "The Girl with the Notebook", but it was never made. The script served as the basis for a short film, "Intermission", which was released in 2020.
Since then, I have graduated from film school (screenwriting) and am continuing my education as a director.
My second short film, "Once in St. Petersburg", will be released in 2023. At the same time, we are working on the script for a feature film. And we are planning to put it into production in 2024.
It's bloody hard to make movies, but there's nothing more satisfying than seeing it in cinemas.
