Born in 1991 near in a small rural farm near Madona. Moved to Valmiera with parents in 1996 in a search for better life where he spent his youth and filmed first short film in 2005. Left Valmiera to pursuit an education as a computer technician in Riga when he realized that moving pictures are constantly on his mind. Pushed by financial reasons moved to Norway after graduation to save up for student fees and come back to Latvia to finally enter a university where he could learn to be a filmmaker.
This movie can break the stereotype that almost nothing happens outside the capital city Riga in Latvia. By following the protagonist, we experience the ever changing beauty of his country and its inhabitants. The short film series encourage the viewer to get up from their couch and go travel, explore.
