In her village in southern Lebanon, 60-year-old SHADIA lives alone. Her routine is shattered by a violent sound, and she tries to calm herself by making coffee. But the village loudspeakers announce that the enemy has threatened to bomb the area. Faced with the impossible choice between staying and leaving, a coin suddenly falls in her path—leaving fate to decide her destiny.

Director Biography - LYNN NAJEM

Lebanese writer, journalist and aspiring filmmaker. She has published a poetry book, "In Another Life", and her novel, "Fat Al Mi’ad", was shortlisted for the Al-Rafidain First Book Award, selected from over eighty entries across the Arab world.
Her work explores complex human connections, often highlighting the impact of younger generations on older ones. She is particularly drawn to films that explore themes of fate, redemption, and human contradictions. Her work seeks to capture the moments where reality and illusion blur, where emotions manifest not just through dialogue but through carefully crafted imagery.
