REGULATION AND NOTICE OF COMPETITION
The Southern Center of Environmental Education of Sorrento announces the 3rd Edition of the International Competition for short films produced by schools and filmmakers, On-Air Festival.
Participants can compete interpreting the proposed themes, which are:
1. The environment in all its forms and free interpretations
2. Free theme
3. Vertical movie
The short films received will be given prominence in the closing event that will be held in Sorrento on March 27, 28 and 29, 2019, at the end of which the trophies and prizes will be awarded to the works considered best at the jury's unquestionable judgment.
Art.1 - The competition is open to the classes of the Primary School and of the national and international first and second level secondary schools, as well as to the filmmakers.
Art.2 - Participation in the competition is free.
Art.3 - There are four sections plus an experimental one:
1) Primary School
2) Secondary Secondary School
3) Secondary Secondary School
4) Filmaker
5) Vertical movie, short story of audiovisual stories with exclusively vertical video footage.
Art.4 - The films may be unpublished or published, also awarded in other competitions.
Art.5 - Each participant can compete with an unlimited number of short films.
For the registration of the works in competition you can use or the online form on the website www.cmea.it or the link on the FilmFreeway platform
Art.6 Sending the materials must be received no later than Friday, February 1, 2019;
Art. 7 - Substitutions of the films are not allowed;
Art.8 - The participant ACCEPT that the Cmea uses the material sent for dissemination / cultural purposes such as:
- production of films for the awards ceremony with the relative screening of the shorts;
- airing on tv, satellite tv, web-tv both of the entire short and of its extracts;
- publication on the official website, on the Cmea youtube channel and on the most widespread social networks;
- paper publications;
- events and events for cultural, artistic, educational and educational purposes;
- for any other use permitted by law non-profit and without anything being due to the author, while ensuring the quote.
The material sent will not be returned and will remain in the media library of the Cmea, available to those who want to view it non-profit.
JURY
The evaluation of the movies is referred to three Juries:
Expert Jury, chaired by the Director of the Cmea and trained by professionals with specific expertise in the sector and representatives of the world of culture, has the task of selecting for each section of the competition (Primary School, Secondary Secondary School, Second Degree Secondary School, Filmaker) three finalists to submit to the Special Jury. The work of the technical jury will be completed by March 1, 2019. The Technical Jury also has the task of assigning, at its sole discretion, any special prizes and decree the winner of the special Vertical movie section.
Young Jury, composed by the selected pupils in the Primary and Secondary Schools of the Sorrento Peninsula who adhere to the "Progetto Festival" organized by the Cmea Sorrento, during the morning screenings during the festival days, will review and vote the short films finalists decreeing the winner of each category.
Web Jury: will decree, among all the movies published on the Facebook page of the Festival, without distinction of sections and through the affixing of a "like", the Jury Award of the Web. The voting operations will be considered concluded at 24 hours, 00 of the 1st March 2019.
The judgment of the Jury is unquestionable.
DEFINITION OF LIABILITY
The participant declares to be the holder of all the rights to use the work, none excluded, and that the contents of the same do not violate the read. He is aware that false claims constitute an offense punishable by law. The competitor also declares that the work does not contain content that is defamatory, racial, in any case contrary to the laws in force. The participant exempted the Cmea from any responsibility for the content of the video.
