OMAR "OMZ" ATTIA is the creator of MON$TER PARTIES. He is a history and science enthusiast who loves writing horror stories about obscure historical stuff. Omz has written VAMPZ!, a micro-budget horror comedy and a number of short films, two of which were featured on CryptTV. His last short, The Widower, currently has over 35 million views on CryptTV’s Facebook Page.
Omz was born in Hackensack, NJ in 1972. He grew up in the nearby suburbs of Hasbrouck Heights and Bogota. In his late teens, Omz was diagnosed with Charcot Marie-Tooth (CMT), a neuromuscular disorder that affects his balance and dexterity.
Although he has no formal education in writing, Omz spends hours upon hours drafting, editing and re-editing his work as well as researching historical and scientific stuff to use in his writings.
Omz likes listening to Goth, Darkwave and Deathrock music like Siouxsie and The Banshees, Joy Division and Vandal Moon.
