Director Statement

"Old Wounds" deals with the post traumatic stress disease. It's not only a problem for those who suffer from it, but also for the people and family around them. My family told me similar stories about the consequences they felt from WWII, without even being alive during the war themselves. In my childhood, I spent a lot of time around the "Chiemsee", where we shot this film. Because of that and some story elements inspired by my family, this anti-war movie is a very personal film for me.
