Nathan Xia is an award-winning film director hailing from San Diego, California. Through his short and feature films, it is evident that Xia is drawn to telling stories about "closetedly broken people" and how their life experiences inevitably unravel the demons they must eventually face.
Asides from narrative filmmaking, Xia also directs music videos, providing him with the opportunities to experiment stylistically and create powerful visuals. Xia’s passion for music transcends music videos as he makes his own songs, tapping into the pop-rock and indie-rock sphere.
There's a mental health epidemic going on in the world. Whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, there is one. I just want those fighting their own internal battles to feel heard and represented. You are not alone and we will get through this, together.
