Ogni Donna una Madonna
Ogni Donna una Madonna is a street art project born in Naples in 2020. The artist, who wishes to remain anonymous, began creating posters depicting the Virgin Mary in contemporary clothing: the clothing or a simple neckline doesn't change the sacredness of a woman. Every woman is sacred, regardless of her physical appearance or her way of dressing.
"Why blasphemous?" The artist uses the Virgin Mary as a symbol of sacredness and femininity, to challenge prejudices and promote women's empowerment. The goal is not to bring the Virgin Mary to a worldly level but to elevate all Women.
The documentary is an invitation to reflect on the strength and resilience of women. A clear example of how street art can be used to convey important messages and promote social change.
