Ogled

OGLED stages a psychodrama commenting on global sex trafficking of Eastern European women ongoing since the collapse of Soviet Union. The cinematic act of sexual submission is a gesture exposing the systematic degradation of women as an aftermath of communism and its claims to civil “liberation” of women.

Inspired by post-soviet folk horror songs of Darja Kazimir Zimina, Ogled is also an experimental music video to Darja's music composed together with Zuhra Makharadze to this vision of atmospheric dark psychedelia beyond political bdsm.
